Introduction

Taverham has a strong presence in the tennis leagues throughout Norfolk.

We have 4 Mens teams in the City League.

A mixed team in the Norwich Winter League.

A mixed team in the North Norfolk League.

Each of the above teams comprise of 4 players and its all doubles.

Interested in playing league tennis?

New players are always welcome and we can place you into a team so that you are playing against players of a similar standard.

At the start of the season we are happy to create new teams to enter the leagues to accommodate the demand.

We actively encourage juniors to play in the adults league (we have had players as young as aged 10 play), in order to keep the standard high we would expect the junior to be receiving coaching.

Team performance 2018

Mens A Div 1 - will finish 3rd in the league. An excellent performance

Mens B Div 2 - struggled for players this season as we had to move players up to the mens A team. It means the team will be relegated

Mens C Div 3 - With most of our team over the age of 60 we struggled this season.

Mens D Div 6 - Finished 3rd in division 6

North Norfolk League - Won every match we played

Div 5 - Norwich Winter league - finished runners up and gained promotion
